The boxes do not interfere. I pushed the seats all the way back and there is still some room left. The quality is solid, but I need to mess with it some more to make the sliding lid more fluid. I was 4 small screws short, will have to go to the hardware store or contact the manufacturer to send me some. Otherwise pretty happy. And they even threw in a shirt and it actually fit. I attached the pic of the hardware bag, that at first looked like a couple bags of cocaine. If the movies have taught me ANYTHING, they taught me that drug smugglers ship there stuff in nondescript boxes to evade the police. And it shipped from Miami, so there is that too.

When I say cookie cutter, I'm referring to their ease of assembly not their quality. They can pump out center sections (drawers) with ease and make model specific fit-kits. That doesn't diminish their quality, just their ease of manufacture. If that makes sense...

100% makes sense. My original supposition about the ARB being Bare Bones (limited options) which our friend objected to as he thinks bare bones means made from recycled broken kitchen cabinets. He also objected to me teasing him about broken drawer stops on the ARB - that's where the name calling started. The ARB are fine but far from perfect. The issues I point out on them are not unique to me. I'm sure TrekBoxx has some issues somewhere, maybe the weight.

Before TB and a few others that have come, the objection on the ARB was price - folks would say oh I'll just build my own. Then they found out DIY is expensive. There have been some really great systems designed and built by users and some s*** ones. So then somehow the ARB became mainstream at about ~$1800 delivered (RDRF/RDF/Fit Kit).

As pointed out in the TrekBoxx universe the rough equivalent to the ARB is $3500 MSRP (Bravo system). Again as pointed out the SAME functionality for 2x the price... or is it the same? The TB comes with a cargo barrier system (i bought a Speski for my ARB @ $450). The TB uses full extension 500# lock in / lock out Accuride slides. The TB comes with a full size hinged Richlite ($$$$) work surface. The Custom Linex finish... that s*** is expensive. And the you get the America tax because the TB is made in the USA by actual craftsmen. But hey they both have two drawers.

At the end of the day if the things that I point out don't matter to the buyer, then sure ARB all day. Frankly I like @MrCWineMan solution... put a little Linex on that and call it a day.

Nothing wrong with facts, flaws or arguments.
It's just that all of those arguments COULD be made without the trash-talking that tends to come with your delivery.

In other news, my special friend is not very happy with me and needs his property returned ASAP!!! Turns out your "drawers" were supposed to ship to the Northeast (NYC), not the Northwest.:rofl::rofl:

Are these full extension drawers or 3/4 like the ARB?
They're not full extension. More like 2/3 to 3/4 or so. Otherwise there's a risk of too much leverage on the slides and the mounting points.

We also make a full extension fridge slide separate from these drawers I'm case someone wanted the fridge to come out completely to get access.

The Dobinson's look pretty nice. Question, do these drawers, whether ARB, Dobinson's, TB, or whatever, interfere or diminish the sound from the factory subwoofer?

The subwoofer sits fully above the ARB drawers. Dobinsons are very similar in dimensions, so with the most common, two drawrer/fridge slide setup, there is no interference.

To summarize, the booty-shaking music that @dc916cruiser regularly plays will not be affected by the drawers. hahahah

Thanks guys, I have to retain that booty-shaking bass! :)

Is it a drop slide? There is only one source in the USA for a drop slide that I know of and it's wider than one drawer top. This creates multiple issues....wherever you mount it, it's a compromise.

I really like the Dobinson's full extension fridge slide:

Works great on my Frontrunner drawers:

After sevderal thousand miles and a couple of road trips, no rattles or squeaks anywhere - highly recommended

Thanks again, @crikeymike for the great service

No, we don't have a drop slide sorry. Considering that we sell some guys 6" lifts with our drawer kits, a drop slide would be a good idea!! The one guy that did that couldn't buy our fridge because it was up too high. I offered to sell him a step ladder with it, but he didn't budge.

I didn't realize those drop slides were so wide. I wonder why??

Does anyone make a system for 80 series .....full length with the back seats removed?? I always have guys build mine for my expedition vehicles. We have no use for back seats............

Here is my custom drawer option. As you can see there are plenty of compartments, it is stylish, and pretty durable. Now obviously I was kidding, I am delivering this today, but my wife laughed at this when I made the crack about our new drawers (I've been pinning for some ARB drawers) I figured it was worth putting up.

Looks good, but what are those huge things on the side taking up all that space?

What do you want to do with them?

If you want to sleep on them? I'd go with ARB or Dob because they are roughly the same height as the middle row seats when folded down...and makes a fantastic sleep surface.

Personally, I like the ARB's new drawer handle design because they are a single grab point to release/unlock. But frankly, the Dob looks (to my eyes) basically identical to the drawers I had in my 100 before ARB took them over. Very very close. Here's a shot of my older 100 drawers:

Pretty close to the Robinson's with the angled handle and separate lock..

Hey, what kind of tire career/rear bumper is that??
