I bought this set up from cruiser parts.net for $9500 with new clutch. They said 6 to 8 weeks it took them 9 months!! While waiting at the 6 month point I found a 1hz locally bought it and moved forward. I would like the 9500 for but I know that is not realistic for a quick sale so I'm asking a very fair price of 6500. Engine has only 100,000 that's nothing for a diesel. My loss your gain. I have the reciept and all correspondence documented from cruiser parts.net you can also go to their web site and see what I bought and paid. Engine is located in colorado. Will ship conus. SOLD

You have PM:D

Just so everyone knows, minus the H55, is this the 1HZ you are selling? I am just confirming because in the OP you said the 1HZ is from cruiserparts.....if so, the linked engine must be the one you purchase while waiting. Or you just balling and had 3 going on. :grinpimp:

Also, i chatted with you via PM back when you had the H151 at Profitts. You mentioned you didn't need it anymore because your conversion is a 40 series and it's too long. If it is the same H151, then its new correct?

Cheers

The seller of the combo in the above link....

Engine/drivetrain is located in Colorado.

Your post also states its located in Colorado. Or did you have the cruiserparts combo shipped to Colorado?

Please clarify

No , no, yes, yes, no this is not the set up I bought on mud 5 months ago that's the set up I used. I waited for ever to get the right trans and bell housing. Never did get the h55 from them. I got the H151 or H150 (I'll double check). The place that did the conversion in Co. Said they would buy the extra set up that's why i did not sell it late this past year. They just now finished my project and told me what they want to pay for the extra diesel set up and it's a bit low to say the least. The engine and bell housing will work in the fj40 the trans (150) is not ideal a H55 is the better trans for a fj40 conversion. I have a good offer on the trans if someone wants the set up minus the trans.. Let me know.

Im in Fl and the diesel is in Colorado at the cruiser shop. Im having a complete list made of what's included and pics.. As soon as I get them I'll post. As for now count on what is listed 1hz + bell housing + H151 transmission, also starter, alternator.

I tend to believe you have H150 which it's the tranny that usually came behind the 1HZ besides H55F

have pic and update. the cruiser shop in Co that has everything says it (the diesel set-up) does have everything i mentioned plus transfer case (a full time transfer case what ever that means). and correction; transmision has an aluminum case (instead of an iron case) so its a R151. not the h55 or the H150 they were pd to send..ehhh yet another wrong part from cruiserparts.net PS send me your email and ill send pic.

That is not an indicator.H150 and H151's both have aluminum cases-front and rear aluminum housing, divided by a iron plate that guides the shift forks. This is a H151-see the aluminum front and back.
Do you know what it came out of? Pics would be valuable at this point.
cheers,
jan

Thanks guys . Im only comfortable selling if I know 100% what it is as soon as that happens I'll contact everyone who Pm me and move forward. Thanks for you help and patience.

ummm, just curious, if they said 8 weeks and it took 9 months then why not just get them to take the engine combo back and get a full refund?

I saw you were selling the unit we shipped you and you didn't contact us about a return.......
On an item this large we generally only charge a minimal restock fee. So you would only be out a little bit. Its a bit of a stretch to say that it took 9 months to deliver. The engine arrived to you within 3 months and we kept you updated from time of order until shipment and you agreed to everything right along. Unfortunately we were not made aware of the bell housing mis match until later on and then we had to special order the bell housing from Japan which took all of the other 6 months time. Again we kept you updated on this also.

If you don't want to take such a loss we can still honor a return and give you back much more then you are trying to sell it for.

To anyone else reading. This customer never contacted us and we would never "stick it" to a customer like it was implied.
