Anyone want to help us determine the value. We found it under some boxes and blankets in Matthew's garage. It appears to be complete. We also have the transmission and transfer case.

I will be back at their place next week. I will get more ID informationWhat others have said. Core value "maybe" $250.
I also think 95 or above. Look under front of oil pan and see if there is a crank position sensor (not on the 93-94 motors). Depending on what your plans are I am interested in the EGR valve, modulator, and VSV.
Matthew never owned a FJ80 and we haven't found any other parts for one, .....yet. His building are full of smaller stuff with prices marked on them except the motors and transmissions. We found 2- 4 speed 16 spline transmissions yesterday also. 1 GM Hi-Perf big block, 1 SB, and a reconditioned SB, We have a SM 465 transmission and transfer case mated together, and another transmission and transfer case I can't get to yet in order to ID.Tom's friend might have pulled it because it didn't run.

Yeap that was him. Same M.O. He helped me with my 1st FJ40 about 20 years ago.Is Matthew the guy from Cary? If so, I met him a LONG time ago (maybe 97 / 98) at a parts store when I was trying to find a flasher relay for my 40. He took me to his place and we wired in a generic GM unit. If that's him, I hate to hear he's passed - couldn't have been much older than 50.
