A customer bought this coil pack 1FZ-FE to swap into his Troopy. Upon receiving the engine we did a cold compression test on the stand.

#1: 130psi
#2-6: 30psi

Due to this the customer wants to source another engine and perhaps go the diesel route. The engine sat for three years so maybe the rings are a bit stuck and running it would bring it back to better specs.

Everything in the pictures is included, we will ship it out on the pallet you see. Also included is a brand new Toyota 1FZ manual trans flywheel. There is no ECU, you will need to source one or put the engine on a Haltech.

oh boy, that looks like fun. SNLC do you by chance have a source for a 105 upper/lower intake/throttle body/ fuel rail assembly? toying with seeing what gains might be had with a gen2 intake vs gen1...

You would get a lot more from swapping the gen 2 head on as well, the combistion chambers are a far better design and dont shroud the valves like the 80 series version. I wish we got this motor in the us, they are awesome and are and even better with boost.

@SNLC Ian, did you bore scope it to see how the cylinders look? How is the oil?

There is lots of carbon in it, yes we looked down at the pistons. It spit a bunch out of the exhaust manifold while testing compression too.

Cheers

I already have one in my fj55 body on locked 80 frame project. With turbo. And Intercooler, and 5-speed, and black box, and 3” stainless exhaust.
