1997 LX450 Factory Diff Lock Switch (1 Viewer)

Hello, Where is the switch of the 97 LX450? Is it in the same place as in Land Cruisers (just left of the steering wheel base). I saw a car online that said it had Factory Locking Diffs, but I did not see a switch where I thought it belonged.

same switch same place, they prolly thought the CDL ment it had lockiong diffs but it has a locking diff.

Ebay dealers occasionally claim a Landcruiser 80 or LX 450 has locking differentials, but in many cases it turns out the car does not have front and rear lockers. I've attempted to "educate" a few to the fact that they are misrepresenting the truck, but they don't seem to think it is as important a mistake as I do.

In addition to looking for diff lock switch, have the seller tell you the door code. Read this for more info on the locker code.

Yup, its the same. Here is a pic from my LX. I also have seen them advertize locking diff without even a CDL switch. They think the center diff locking in low counts
