Hi just curious what you think my 97 LC is worth? its black, stock, with ~147K miles on it. I believe it needs a head rebuild, exhaust, has cracked windshield. Has brand new AC condenser and compressor, newer pads and rotors all around, bypassed rear heater core due to rusted lines. Needs new gears for driver power seat, has stock radio but not working. Located in NJ. Had the LC for 13 years and put ~50k miles on it. Is $2500 too much for a LC that starts but is pissing coolant out the ex manifold and has a check engine light for cylinder 6 misfire? TIA

$32,000
- $15,000 because it's black
- $500 windshield
- $10,000 rust
- $1500 exhaust
-$5000 head rebuild
- $3000 general maintenance
- $200 driver's seat gears
- $500 stock radio
+ $50 AC compressor
+ $50 newish pads and rotors

So, you owe me to haul this away for you......

Are you sure it's not the oil cooler leakin? Its located underneath the exhaust manifolds.

Unless it is cherry, most won't go above $1k on a 20+ year old truck with a known bad engine.

Post up some detailed pictures of the body, frame/underbody and interior. If your rig is really clean (I don't know if it is...), someone might buy it for an LS swap. If it's not so clean, someone might buy as a parts rig. Or, better yet, invest a little of your own cash and get it running properly. Then, you can drive it for a year and sell it once the engine is fully broken in. Land Cruisers command a premium price in New England, if they are in even decent shape.
