1997 FJ80 rough starting

my 1997 FJ80 is starting very strangely, I just replaced the plunger in the starter and the positive contact. The engine used to start without touching the gas pedal, now it seems to need a pump... this morning it blew blue smoke which it has never done before... very strange...

any ideas?
