I think that L92 is going to put down some better power then that ls1 . My next project will be an is300 with an ls6 or ls3 motor.

that motor goes from docile lamb to raped ape with a cam swap and some tuning.

it's flat out bad ass.

if only those frame rails were just a bit wider on the 80. I could not get the LS3 manifolds to fit which was really disappointing.

I want to do another LS project. I used to have a 1970 bmw 2002 and I bet one of those would flat out rip with an aluminum ls motor. i think the super 7 is a little bit lighter but still, it would be a blast.

Lotus is 1700 lbs and the LS1 was worked over with a cam swap, AFR heads, long tube headers and a custom dyno tune. I don't have the dyno sheet handy, but IIRC its best run was 450HP at the wheels

Unfortunately, all that power led to its demise when it spun out and met a curb at an autocross event. It will be rebuilt better and stronger after the 80 is done
