I went down the road of changing out the gauges with aftermarket products as the well as the shifter. Personally I think retaining as much of the stock Toyota parts. I think it helps make the truck look like it came that way from the factory. Though I do see your argument with the inaccuracy.
Moreover I would agree 100% on upgrading the radiator to aid in more efficient cooling.

I agree on running the stock gauges too. I'm just going to piggy back them with an ultra gauge for $100. It will read the gm stuff along with tranny temp. Cheaper and cleaner then all aftermarket gauges imo.

food for thought: the more i drive LS3 40, the more i like driving my bone stock, unadulterated LX450.

Well add a lift, 35" tires, bumpers, roof rack, accessories ect then tell me how you like it... They are fine on power til you start modifying them.

i can imagine.....i mean i know exactly your point.....i have three passengers and this things a dog.

Here is a pic of my motor mounts. Yes, they are fully adjustable. Manifolds everyone run the ls1 blocker hugger headers. There is a guy on Ebay that sells Stainless block huggers for 200 to your door but you need header spark plugs for cylinder 1 and 4 due to clearencing. BUT they are stainless vs painted steel. As for the pan the F-body pan is what you want to run for clearance. Whats the story on this 203/ splitcase how long does it end up being said and done? Shifters?

Hey man. I enjoy reading your posts. Can you help me understand a few things on the mounts. 1. No cutting and welding necessary, direct install onto the frame? 2. Can you send me the link, model number of the mounts. 3. Reuse the oem rubber mounts? 4. Annoying engine vibration noise from using these mounts? dislike the ideal of fabricating aftermarket mounts. My best friend is a nurse and I have the utmost respect on your occupation. I'm an architect and I have worked many assisted living facility projects. Thanks
