Been awhile since Ive posted so here are a few photos of the progress. Wiring is essentially completed just need to position the PCM and new fuse box. AC lines are done, I eliminated the tube that ran along the fire wall just seemed like it would be too close to the exhaust.. The shifter is what everyone else is using the 91/91 80 shifter though I didnt cut any holes in the floor just retained the stock position and it works great! Also cleaned the cluster up turning off all unnecessary cluster lights off ie oil level, abs, plus wired up the CEL to work with the GM PCM (works great!) If your wondering why my interior is all ripped out I spilled a bucket of used oil in the back on my way to O`Reilly's to recycle it and the **** got everywhere .. All that is really left it so reinstall the interior, notch the trans pan and run the exhaust. Test fired it up yesterday open header :D my neighbors love me haha..

Thanks fellas for the props and ideas! I am now chomping at the bit to get this redefined beast on the road now... its A LOT of work but when. You hit the key and hear that v8 roar its like when you were a kid and saw your first Playboy haha! I will keep the updates as I finish up. I will post a vid soon too.

More progress today. Pulled the brake pedal assembly out and fitted the new stop lamp switch and wired in the TC Lock up switch supplied from PSI Conversions. I think by the time Im done with this swap I could do one like clock work... HAHA. Also been kicking around later down the road adding force induction, which is the reason I went with the Z06 cam rather than an aftermarket. Always a work in progress!

Well finally winding down on this swap haven't really touched it since starting the new job. Ordered last of the parts (headers, mlps plug, ect). Now what muffler do you guys recommend? I was thinking of a magnaflow or a dual chamber flowmaster. I don't want a ton of resonance in the cab, makes it a biatch to talk on the Bluetooth :D

I junked my stock exhaust. I will probably do a 3in stainless magnaflow without a cat and resonanator

I ditched my dual cats and went with a single 3in cat. Cleaned up the exhaust route nicely. See my build thread for pics.

I ended up buying the 14inch magnaflow muffler and hiflow cat, hooker headers. I don't like the way the block huggers fit so I'm sending them back. I bought the hooker manifolds I showed in a previous post. Soon as I get them I will show how they fit. Supra pump is in :)

Exhaust is done dealio. Manifolds worked out great, and they werent much more than the headers. Clearence is perfect from the firewall and frame plus they allow you to run the front swaybar. Manifolds come with a beefy stainless flange, you do retain the factory head side gasket and hardware. For the exhaust flange a 2010 Camaro gasket is used. Drove it for the first time in a year (only on and off the trailer, but still!) and will take it on a hot lap when I get my small punch list knocked out.

Dumped the exhaust little above rear bumper so I wont tear it off when dropping off steep drops.

how do you like the supra pump?

it's quiet, no?

I started to doubt myself in choosing this pump so I threw a pressure gauge on the rail and ran it inside the cabin for about a week so I could watch it while I drive. At no time did I ever see drop in fuel pressure. It stays at 62psi no matter what (low fuel, high fuel, full throttle, idle, and anything in between). It just works. No more noisy Walbros for me.

Ooooo, I likey the manifolds! That supra pump, is it in tank?

yep. it replaces the stock denso pump. it's bigger but it will fit on the stock hanger. i think it's good to about 500 hp. it's expensive but the quality is lightyears ahead of the walbros and it's really quiet.
