I’m a toyotaphile and have had an fj60, fjcruiser, 3rd gen 4runner, and currently have a 22 gx460 blackline. realizing shortly after buying this and dumping a lot more than the asking price that the GX and Bronco are platforms I want to focus more on.
You may find cheaper ones but I’ve addressed every maintenance area recommended that you’ll have to and had a compression test done that was consistent across all 6 cylinders for piece of mind. California (Encinitas) sun hasn't been kind to this, and the flares, hood, roof, and rear door show sun damage. I did have plans to Sand, Prep, Prime, Spray, and Clear the fender flares to start, and had the materials ordered in the factory color into spray cans. Haven't done it yet.
All work under my ownership done a k&h land cruisers in canoga park, ca and dirty parts off road in Culver City.
