Look at how Toyota designed those rear lower control arm frame brackets….super tucked up and welded on the inner side of the frame. Very cool to see. Why did they stop doing it this way. Seems like a much better solution than having the brackets below the frame and getting banged on every rock you come across.

Newer rigs have a 5 link design and shorter links, Prado's front & rear have a three link design similar to a 80's front with longer arm allowing the frame mount to higher up and the control arm to be relatively flat or parallel to the ground ;)

what size and make of the lift? New shocks or just springs? Any issues with the alignment given the standard Panhard bar and not an adjustable one? also, what size tires? looks super clean how long have you had in Texas (when was it imported?) thanks!

Shocks and springs, believe it’s 3”. No issues with alignment since I’ve had it. 33” open country Toyo M/Ts. Imported January 2023
