Just realized I’m metal on metal on my rear brakes. Trying to find pads & rotors ASAP. Wondering if FZJ80 full float parts interchange? That would make sourcing parts today much more feasible, if so.

Parking brake cables for the rear disc 73/75 axles are NLA unfortunately . Might be good to find a place that can make a custom cable and do a group buy to make it worth their timeUse ToyoDIY.com - https://www.toyodiy.com/ to find any model/year compatibility for the part numbers. I was able to find all parts, with exception of a parking brake cable, for my HZJ73. It has a full float rear axle and disk brakes. See my Good Times build thread for brake replacement details for it.
I would reach out to Cruiser outfitters.
If they don’t have them they can most likely point you in the right direction![]()
100%, we stock pads and rotors specific to the 1/90 + HZJ73/77 rear. Pads for example:

The FJ calipers definitely work. See my build thread for parts details. I have rear rotors from Terrain Tamer. I used stock brake hoses and lines. Assembly of the parking brake is a pain in the assI just got my rear HZJ-73 axle rebuilt. We used FJ Cruiser rotors and calipers. The calipers are switched left to right, and of course Fj Cruiser pads. The park brake cable and e brake parts went back smoothly. It will be a couple of weeks before it goes back under the truck. We are actually swapping in a refreshed set of axles with air lockers into my 98.
The brake hose mounting is very tight looking but I am getting FJ Cruiser brake hoses and they look like they will work.
Soooooo, long story short, I am 90% sure this all works but will be a couple weeks before knowing for certain View attachment 3801062
I got my rotors/calipers from Napa. Not my favorite choice but they were in stock 5 minutes away and we were ready for them. There are 2 sets of slightly different 6 hole patterns, not sure why but that doesn't hurt anything so no harm, no foul. The FJ calipers definitely work. See my build thread for parts details. What’s the part number for the FJ rotors? I've got it as 42431-60311. The 73 is 42431-60180
Here is a pic of my rear rotor. It looks like it has fewer holes then the one you've got. Speed Holes - LOL!!! View attachment 3801097
