Some kind of do-dad. :)

That lid looks factory. I have seen similar in other models. Like my old Camry wagon.

Lid is factory. I've seen it in every HZJ77 including mine. I'm putting a platform in and decided to put an air tank in that void since it'll be covered up. In the mean time I have it lined with waxed cardboard and full of shackles jumper cables and other recovery bits and pieces

I never would have guessed it was factory.

1st Potential Issue .... The snorkel installation will be a very tight fit with the fender mounted mirrors.

Schedule of events ...... Not necessarily in order.
Take care of some scratches and rock chips and repaint at least the blue portion.
Add ARB brush bar ... Modified to accommodate the mechanical winch.
Install snorkel and remove the OEM radio antenna.
Replace rear mud flaps.
New tires ... Brand and size yet to be determined.
Upgrade suspension
Install a radio that actually works.
New LED dome lights (3) .... I know a guy.
Install Lightforce 170MM Striker driving lights and LED fog lights.
Roof rack ..... If not it looks silly having a ladder. Fortunately the interior is near perfect and requires nothing.

Can anyone shed some light on how the headlight washers are activated?
Thanks

Headlamps on, activate the windshield washer switch two times in a row. If the headlamp washers are working correctly it will soak you hood.....:)

Is the reservoir labeled as such?

Headlamp reservoir is on the left front, windshield reservoir on the right front.

With some effort I should be able to figure that out. :)

Remember that after you fill one, you have one left. The one that's left may have been the right one to begin with.

I think I'll just use Windex to clean the darn headlights.

Put a rubber chicken under the wiper arm and start driving the damn thing already.............:rimshot:

X2

Nice ride Charles.

I had OME heavies in mine and ordered Manafre shackles as they gave me an extra inch of lift for a total of 3.5 inches. Not a wobble or issue with leaf springs and I had the shorter 73 series.

You may not remember but I can send you pics, my tire size was 33 12.50 on 15's.

Why not paint the fenders and install the other factory mirrors that go below the A pillar. Not much issue with snorkel clearance then and you won't have bush catchers on the front of your hood (damage multipliers)
