A lousy photo of the new water pump.
Radiator photos are on post 1358/59.

I've been traveling to Germany for 7+ years and I finally see my first 70 Series. It was setting in a used car lot and I was able to snap a quick shot from our bus.

Meh, LJ.:)

My observations thus far on the aluminum radiator vs OEM...........
OEM ..... Would average 180-190 degrees (F) at slow speeds (low EGT's) and would go 210 degrees+ with prolonged high EGT's
Aluminum ..... (Higher capacity and no internal transmission cooler) runs in the 180 Degree (F) range at low speeds and even with prolonged high EGT's hardly exceeds 190 Degrees. So far it appears to be a good investment especially considering the impending turbo installation.

Nice.:)

While it was at the shop, Rob converted the instrument cluster to LED. (Better photos will be posted at a later date)

I'll take my set in green. Looks great... a ton brighter.
At this time, the bulbs are only available in white however tinted condoms may be available. I chose to not tint mine. (I'm old and blind and need as much light as possible)

Your avatar is the heat.

My avatar is in memory of my dad who flew medivac helicopters on multiple tours in Vietnam starting in 1965 and who unfortunately is no longer with us. I wouldn't be half the person I am today without his guidance.

More tinkering with the LED conversion.

Like the distortion mirror at the local fair. :)

I managed to find some nice LED ones for my dash in Green. They were a nice upgrade.
Got a few mixed colours and replaced a few other bulbs. Slowly trying to go LED

Rob got in a new shipment of LED bulbs for the backup lights today so we did some upgrading.
Although you can't tell much from the photos, we went from bright .....

........ to painfully bright. :)
Left side is a "4 Row" bulb while the one on the right is a "6 Row". (Significant difference)
