Alignment Issues .....
Out of numerous tire shops and alignment centers in my home town, there are only two that understand vehicles with solid front axles. Took a day or two to round up the shims. Hopefully the ole Cruiser will be tracking straight later today.

Did you ever snap a picture of the "U-Tube" Rob built for the snorkel inlet? I have another HZJ7x customer running into this issue. TIA
 
Hi Kurt, I've forwarded photos of the completed project to a couple of guys but I didn't photograph the individual components that Rob fabricated especially the tricky stuff inside of the fender. I can somewhat describe what was needed to make it work however if anyone's interested. Let me know if I can help.

The Garrett Turbo, 2 intercoolers, 24V water pump and a box full of plumbing do-dads has been ordered.
First of several checks has been written. :)
 
The new turbo is officially sitting on the shelf along with 2-1/2" & 3" exhaust flanges (not sure which size we're going to use yet). Still waiting on the intercoolers and a larger oil cooler to arrive.

My Cruiser only came with one ignition / door key so I dropped by the local locksmith this morning. The shop is a 3rd generation mom and pop facility.
2 keys ... $5.00. :)

If you would like to have OE blanks for them to cut... I have a handful of different OE key blank options.

Story of my life. A day late and a dollar short. :)

One key now resides on the spare ring and the other one is in Rob's shop in the event he needs to pick up the Cruiser while I'm out of the country.

Which Garrett turbo ? I am thinking of upgrading the stock CT26 turbo on the 1 HD-T before the engine swap as it needs a rebuild but I cannot find the part numbers needed for the 7MGTe hybrid deal ?

I'm currently in Europe and don't have access to the Cruiser or the turbo but I'll have the info. for you by mid-week.
