Ideally you still want your a/w radiator behind the grille. It's going to work a lot better mounted there vs somewhere out of direct airflow, fan or not.

The A/C components as well as the aux transmission cooler take up most of the room behind the grill.

I've had several emails asking my opinion of the Truck-Lite LED headlights on my Cruiser. I'm VERY impressed.
Between them and the LED's in the brush bar, I seldom use the LightForce driving lights anymore.

Although they make a heated version, mine or not. Our Winters are short and mild in South Georgia.

My biggest concern is icing in the winter. I may not go the LED route for my turn signals. Also my current tail lights are LEDs from the PO which I'm looking for factory replacements.

I believe @WanderinWhitlows purchased the heated headlights and may be able to shed some light on their performance. All of exterior lighting with the exception of the head lights and driving lights are Rob's products.

I did order the heated lights from Truck-lite but haven't been at low enough temperatures to test them yet. I will say that when I activate the high beams they do not trigger the high beam indicator light on the dash. Not really a concern to me as it's very obvious that they are active as the high beams are ridiculously bright.

The high beam indicator seems to be a universal issue and in my case there doesn't seem to be enough amperage to automatically activate the driving lights which I seldom use anyway.

Anyone actual drop in amps after converting to led? Aside from the bling and brightness what is the actual benifit?

In my opinion, brightness and the arc of light is the big advantage. Reliability is also a factor.

No cold weather with it yet. wI'll have to wait till this winter to test.

We reached 100 degrees (F) yesterday so I know the lights can definitely handle heat.
