My goal was to not cut into the panels. Perhaps mine is the "discount" VX version.
I haven't been able to figure out any rhyme or reason behind the 4 speaker audio or 2 speaker. Mine has the H55, factory lockers, no rear heat, and has 4 speakers. My Friend has the auto, no lockers, rear heat and 2 speakers.
In my eyes... If it's stock location and parts, why feel bad about cutting? That's just me though.
Who ever brought your truck would not have ticked the option beside stereo upgrade.
This is what I figured...
We're so used to newer vehicles only offering features as part of optional packages instead of individual options. I prefer the old way of doing business; only buy the options you want.

It is not just the speakers.
Depending on model year, an LX grade Cruiser may or may not have power windows, power locks, rear speakers and even rear seat headrests.
On the shop I stumbled on a 1994 73 LX Series that came with power windows and power locks but no rear headrests; I think it had no AC. Mine is a 95 LX, no power windows, no power locks but it does have rear headrests and AC.
I guess it is not just the buyer checking options in a list but also the mood of the plant workers on the day the Cruiser was assembled...

Man, I can't wait to see this beauty when she's "done"!
I want a thorough review of that terrain tamer suspension. I am contemplating a purchase soon. Oh and stop being so stingy with the pictures. The way you keep teasing us, I am expecting you to hire a professional photographer to shoot a 100 picture spread for us.

We are under area tornado warnings (2nd day in a row) so the photos will have to wait until Monday or Tuesday when the cold front clears the area. So far the Terrain Tamer suspension is performing flawlessly. The Cruiser rides nicely and tracks straight. I will not post 100 photos (perhaps 99 but not 100) but I do have a photo visionary on tap.

I have power windows, power locks, and A/C. (To be honest I haven't even noticed if it has rear seat headrest.)
I do not have factory rear speakers or rear heat.
