Why these projects seem to take so long .......
The leading edge of the hood had a fair amount of "road rash" which varied from a few scratches to more significant rock chips. The original idea was to lightly buff out the scratches and go from there. That eventually morphed into a full scale assault on the rock chips from inside the hood. The "touch up painting" has now evolved into wholesale painting of the hood and fenders. Fun times ....... :)
You know where this is headed....

All of the boo-boos are now corrected ..... Time for paint.

The rock chips are understandable on a 25 year old Cruiser but the previous owner's neighborhood must have been full of tap dancing cats to put that many tiny scratches on the hood. :)

The exterior is OFFICIALLY COMPLETED.
Rear bumper (a real bumper) and trim were the last exterior items. :)

The bumper looks sharp. Better than OEM. Very nice!
Unlike the OEM version, this bumper actually has some structural integrity. :)

The electrical gremlins have been exercised and all of the LED lights, including the turn signals, are now functioning properly.

Good to hear, Rob has some folks waiting with bated breath.....
Won't be much longer. If he can ever get the 77 Series out of his garage (the owner is a real pain in the ass) he'll be able to dedicate more time to the light kits.

If I back into something with this Cruiser it won't be due to lack of lighting.
