If you think it is "cool" to have steering wheel on wrong side, the fender mirrors will likely be a hit. They are off of one of my JDM rigs and the other truck will be modified as well at some point.

My "cons":
  1. Mirror head / image too small
  2. Mirror too far away
  3. A bitch to adjust (my arms are not that long!)
  4. Replacement parts can be hard to source (the plastic housing on my JDM FJ 62 cracked with age - still looking)
  5. Bad enough to have steering on curb side, but to have a tiny image on the other side of the vehicle when viewing the left lane is not fun - especially when there is no rear facing window in the cab - yep, its a fire truck.
OK, my two centavos.... :)

Obviously :bounce::bounce2:

One of your many attributes....entertainment value for us :hillbilly:

Fender mounted mirrors and RHD ...... I'm clearly living on the edge.

I do like that bumper....

I have the same heavy duty chromed spacers/covers on my 75. The fire trucks have an oil cooler that takes the place of the OEM winch between the front bumper and radiator/crossmember. If you know someone considering a low-mount "stealth" winch as on my 73 using a low-profile stock-style bumper, they could be valuable - very trendy...

Probably should have kept the bumper since it arrives at the scene of the accident several minutes before the vehicle does.

Very little progress in the last few days. Rob had to do some unscheduled work on a clients sick 2F.
He did however continue to convert all of the exterior lights to LED. This is the turn signal in the ARB brush bar.

A turn signal and fog light all in one ...... :)

You just replacing the bulbs?
Yes and no ....
The shop is adding LED light assemblies to the front and rear bumpers (total of 5) and is exchanging bulbs in the front parking lights as well as the rear brake lights / turn signals. Rob is using the same high quality bulbs that he uses for his
dome light kits.

Does he use load resistors for the signal bulbs? I was going to replace all mine with LEDs and came across the 'hyper flash' issue where LEDs blink twice as fast as traditional bulbs. Do you think he'd be willing to send me the same set of bulbs he used on yours for my fronts and rears?

And on a related note, I replaced my headlights with the truck lite LEDs and like them a lot.

Thanks

Allow us to "test" the product first (hopefully in a couple of weeks) and I'll contact you. I'll also have the technical data at that point.

Might be interested as well ...

Sounds bueno. Thanks
