Sounds bueno. Thanks
Rob plans to sell kits for all of the exterior lights but much like his dome light kits, he won't sell anything until there has been extensive testing. My Cruiser is the test bed so to speak.

Hmmmmm. I am driving a former test bed, so perhaps I can get a pre-production sample ;)

And this is from the guy who can't park straight.

Not enough coffee that morning ...

I hope he doesn't do something else like he parks.......

More goodies from Ward's expanded product line. A must for a serious off-road guy like myself.

I should know better than to expect any slack from this crowd

The 77 Series is now resting comfortably on a new Terrain Tamer suspension thanks to Rob and Ward. Ward's customer service in this endeavor was second to none.

She looks like she is coming along nicely.
To quote the local farmers, "we're in the short rows" now. Every time I go by the shop, Rob and I discuss something new we would like to try on the Cruiser which keeps moving the completion date further down the road. Rob has two other major projects waiting in the wings and needs to wrap this one up.

I don't want to deviate from the Tech nature of this thread, but it may bear mentioning that sometimes, well as a French guy once said.......

"Perfect is the enemy of good." or something close to it :)

PS - Your rig is perfect already.

We are not attempting to reinvent the wheel as much as we are trying to make a bunch of small, beneficial changes and updates. Rob's rear bumper was on display today and he was making the necessary modifications to accept the OEM plastic trim on the 77 Series. When that's complete he'll cut the holes to accommodate the square LED backup / work lights and paint the new bumper to match the front ARB brush bar. Rob has a long list of items similar to this that he wants to complete before the Cruiser is rolled out of his garage.

I guess maybe I am not the one to throw stones, given the year-long and rather obsessive 73 build

On a 25 year old Cruiser it's an interesting process.
You paint the wheel flares and then realize the rubber gaskets are old and dated and detract from the fresh paint.
You install a new ARB brush bar only to realize the rear bumper is inadequate.
Etc .... Etc .... Etc.
