I've owned this FJ62 since 1998 and added the following since 1998: OME medium lift with rancho shocks, ARB front bumper with Warn M12000 winch and hella lights, Kaymar rear bumper, Mean Green alternator and starter, hella headlight wiring harness, and the best thing; swapping in a 1987 4spd manual transmission. Has 33x10.50 BFG ATs including full size spare. The linex coating was added to the bottom of the truck after I ripped off the mud flaps driving thru deep snow about 10 years ago. This is a great truck, and always has been. Still very dependable. This cruiser has almost 283,000 miles, and most likely will by next week, as I drive it often. I'm not really wanting to sell it, but my career definitely requires me to have a pickup instead. I do not NEED to sell this, but it just makes sense. The truck's body is rusty, but the frame is in good shape. The rusty areas are most notably the rocker panels on both sides and the rear wheel wells as well at the driver's side front door (I do have another door that is even the correct color that goes with the truck). There is also some rust on the rain gutter by the passenger side rear hatch and passenger side at the front door. A body guy can easily fix this 62. The interior is in great shape. There is one dash crack, and it has the typical worn spot on the driver's seat. Has the heated Wet Okole front seat covers that I love. Has a blaupunkt head unit that accepts an ipod/iphone. The only thing not working is the AC ( I never recharged it after replacing the radiator.), and the e-brake cable broke last week. I have a replacement cable, but haven't crawled under it to replace it. I also have a few spare parts, including a spare alternator. The price is $7000 with the winch and $5500 without. I prefer to keep the winch, it's overkill for a 62 anyway! I'm going to list this on Craigslist, but will wait till after the weekend so mud members have a shot at it first.
