- just under 300k miles, but top end has been freshened up, starts on first twist of the key

- 4 inch lift, reversed the spring over axel. The lift was way too much previously and now rides and looks better

- BFGoodrich KM2s with 90-95% tread

- Front winch (no name brand but works perfectly)

- custom front bumper (Custom Cruisers) with off brand winch and lightbar (both have performed way beyond my expectations

- custom rear bumper (Custom Cruisers) with dual swing outs, high lift jack, gas can rack, spare full size tire

- rock sliders (Custom Cruisers)

- new Bilsteins all the way around

- recently rebuilt trans, less than 1000 miles ago

- custom storage drawer system in the back with panel top that converts the back to one big flat area to sleep on

- Powertank on the side of drawer system, hidden under top panel + "Power Tank" brand pressure gauge

- Misc pull straps, Hi-Lift adapters, and other extraction gear

- interior is about 90-95%, overall is in excellent condition

- exterior is about 80-85%, a few nicks, dings, one small rust spot (pictured) , and a scrape to the primer pre rock sliders

- Roof gutters are clean, NO RUST

- Locking hubs are still smooth and in great condition

I have piles of receipts for maintenance and upgrades going back over 6 years, such as -

- new distributor, cap, rotor

- transmission rebuild (less than 1000 miles on rebuild)

- rebuilt head, re-ring, hone cylinders etc

- new Optima Red Top (brand new, month old)

- Replaced all tie rod ends

- Replaced exhaust system

- Replaced radiator and fan belts, upper and lower hoses an bypass hoses

- Replaced oil pan gasket

- California Smog tested and passed

Disclosure

- small rust spot on left side wagon window seal (only rust spot)

- scrape down to primer on driver side doors (pre slider installation scrape)

- Tail gate panel inserts are broken, so it pops off from time to time (the carpeted interior panel)

- Speedo is about 5mph off due to the 33" tires

Overall this rig is a fantastic FJ62 specimen, and is in fantastic shape for being 25 years old. engine is still strong, and starts on the first key twist, never overheats. Has been used in commercial photographic adverts for outdoor brand Eagle Creek.

Asking $18,000

Selling due to not enough use, I have a TRD Pro Tacoma which is getting me everywhere I need to be. The only things that I wanted to do next to it, is install disk brakes, and new more powerful window wiper motors. Other than that I was absolutely stoked on this.

Nice truck! Wasn't this rig for sale already before on mud (when it was still SOA) and price was lowered to $12k? Just wondering

That is correct, then I spent a lot getting it into a healthy drivable rig. With my photography I needed to be on the road doing decent miles and it was far from that when I purchased it. The reversal of spring over axel in my opinion was a must.

Nice rig! I saw this thing over at Custom Cruisers FJ40 when I was dropping my 40 off over there. GLWS!
Ha ha, that must have been a while ago? Thanks, he is a beaut and still hesitant on selling it but having two vehicles and one big being used is not something that's sitting well with me....

I wanna say it was last March or a followup visit shortly after. I remember the paint job being very nice! What did it cost to paint the rig by the way? My family is going to be doing a refresh on our FJ62 (Family car purchased in 1991) and a paint job is in order. You probably saw my cruiser there :)

I haven't touched the paint and if I keep it, I'll look at a full respray just because I'm a fuss my guy! Which one is your rig?
