Sweet!

I don't like the new avatar.... Patton loses a bit of his gravitas in it.....

;)
Holy crap, that's Patton. Having never met him, I just assumed that was Dan.

Yup....

I just assumed the medals were from Toyota for reaching a certain volume in parts sales. ;)

I am a little disappointed that USPS didn't send it through Omaha...

I'm going to have the HZJ77 drawing appraised tomorrow at an art gallery. ;)

I thought I was going blind but fortunately I just needed some additional "illumination".

The right half of my tachometer and the left half of my speedometer is dark. At night, I have no visual cues that I am accelerating except for the substantial G forces. ;)

How's your hearing, which went first? The zoooomity whistle of the turbo, or the clackety clickety clacking from that loco motive under the hood?
Your otorhynolaryngologist is going to want to know.

40+ years of jet engines and firearms ....... I can't hear myself pass gas.
Otorhynolaryngologist ..... Any doctor with that many syllables in their title can't be trusted.

What's a tachometer? Those of us with low-line trucks don't have one of those fancy gizmos ...

Surprised you aren't going LED. ;)

Tachometer ..... A brief explanation:
0-3,500 RPM ...... Noisy
3,500-4,100 RPM ..... Very Noisy
4,100 RPM ..... Extremely Noisy than very quiet. (Followed by the sounds of sobbing)

Ah .... Now I can calibrate my ear.

Where does "boom" fit in? ;)

The "boom" is followed by an eerie silence and the tach needle setting at zero. The 2L-TE guys have written volumes about this experience.

Ahhh ... I'll try to avoid the "boom". If the 8.3L Cummins in my RV gets to 2,400, there will be a huge boom, then a large amount of crying ;)

Both the 8.3 Cummins and the 13B-T are at the top of the power food chain. :)

Hello,

Are those the rubber caps that go over the dashboard bulbs?
