I realize snow in the background would enhance the Christmas spirit but the only white stuff down here is the Ute and the sand on the beach 60 miles south.

Santa appears to be a Mercedes guy ..... Obviously he has never driven a 70 Series.

That would explain a lot. Could be worse though, land rOver, he'd never get through.

While some are having a white Christmas, we are having a liquid Christmas. 8"+ of rain in the last 48 hours.
The floor of the dock is normally 2' above the water level. By sundown the floor will be completely underwater.
 
Hmmmm ... I take it you won't be wandering out to adjust the lights tonight .... unless they are gen1 fire starters ;)

Yes, but it was removed shortly after the photo was taken. It's not the electrical source for the lights. :)

Unless the water level reaches the middle railing the electrical sockets should be safe. I will probably throw the breaker later this evening.

I was wrong ..... the dock floor was submerged before mid afternoon.

The emergency spillway has kicked in. It's a good day to have 4 wheel drive and lockers. :)

Yes my snorkel is hooked up and fully functional however if I drive across the spillway I'll have to wash and wax the Cruiser and I am very busy.
