Glad to help ........

Is this photo an illusion or do the Canadian BJ70's have a lot more rear leg room? My former BJ71 and my current BJ74 don't have anywhere near this amount of rear legroom.

I think the drivers seat might be a ways forward

With the drivers seat in a normal position ( I'm not an NBA player ) I had about 3"-4" of legroom on my BJ71 and the BJ74 isn't much better however this photo creates the impression there is amazing space.

the CDM 70 does have about 6" more leg room over the JDM 71/71/73/74 models.
not an optical illusion
i do have the brackets here (and seat) if you want to move yours back.

So I assume there is little or no storage area behind the rear seats?
Thanks for the offer however my seat has been folded up since I bought the BJ74 and I don't anticipate ever using it.

In that photo the rear seat appears to be almost touching the rear door.

I agree.....
That was one of the things I didn't like about my BJ71 when I owned it and a main reason I keep my rear seat folded up on my BJ74.

Clutch fluid on my floor mat...... :bang:
The remedy is in hand.

there is about 9" between the door and the rear seat of the CDM 70
same location when folded.

9" ........ Enough room for a small verbal message. :)

Or a small carry - on suitcase...

A 15mph collision...... :bang:
My daughter was fortunately not hurt ...... Scared beyond belief ...... But not hurt.
She is now driving a Toyota until the Honda is repaired.

DANG! Glad she is ok

Thanks.....
Hopefully it will be a learning moment.

Why I like the BJ74's air lockers......
I came very close to having to go fetch a tractor this morning to retrieve my HJ75.
I sunk the rear all the way to the rims but fortunately the front saved the day. :)
