I have all 50 U.S. States, all of the Canadian provinces except Nunavut, all of the Australian Territories, a handful of European Union tags, and one U.K. tag. :D
No Japanese tag even though I am looking.

Charles, My truck has been sitting at the shop so long you can go to google earth and see it sitting out in the sun with a gray tarp thrown over the cab or what's left of the cab.
You and Alberto will be the first to see it once all is done. By the way, "License Plate Expert" I will need a Zimbabwe license plate for my cruiser if I ever get it completed. Happen to have an extra, Mr. Smarty Pants??:D

End of a nice day in the Deep South ......

Way cool Charles.

When's the next BBQ? We can invite old guys from the desert and the cold tundra.

:)

Anytime ........
I just need a little heads up to harvest a few more squirrels and purchase a couple of Mason Jars full of shine. My wife can make the rice and gravy. :)

Progress slowed a little bit this week but a few more parts were installed. :)

Does anyone know if this part ( heater line ) is available new or used?

Not in the North American market.

Man oh man ......
Maybe someone will have a used one they are willing to part with.
Thanks.....

It's actually not as bad as it appears in the photo however the last 1/4" - 1/2" of each end is fairly corroded.
I am fairly sure this particular line came off of a 2H powered Troopy and not a pickup.

Thanks guys ........
Once the ends were cut off ( approximately 1/2" ) the remaining metal tubing was actually in good shape so the water line is still usable. I will continue to search for a new one however the current issue won't prevent installation of the engine. :)

Seriously, email Yan at that link. He may be able to help you.

1978HJ45 and Cruiserdan,

If by Yan you mean Akella, for whatever it's worth he has my recommendation. This from only having ordered one item, however there are no hassles with this guy, gets down to business and does the job.
By the way, earlier i mentioned that your pick-up, 1978 HJ45, is automotive jewellery; the engine is mechanical jewellery: lovely piece!

Cheers, 61Mk+
