A view from my Cruiser ( the one that is still running ) last night. Those are clouds and not bugs on my windshield. :D
In over 40 years of aviation I have never seen a cloud formation quite like those.
Kinda looks like a scene from Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds".

sadly, i predict, it will be the day after the bill is paid ...
but before you actually get to drive the 75

Good news from the machine shop..... No significant issues with the block, crank or head. :)
Parts are ordered and should be here in the next week to ten days. ( complete rebuild kit + armor grooved piston upgrade + oil pump upgrade )

Although the injectors tested okay today, I will have the shop install new nozzles.

With the HJ75 down for the count, I am left with the BJ74, my wife's very dirty 4Runner and of course her little clown car. :D

How about your 80 series? ^^

Only about half of the injectors tested good and out of literally hundreds of nozzles in stock, mine have to be ordered. The adventure continues...... :D

Here you go Wayne.......
Since you said you like driving your Cruiser in the snow, I found the perfect place.
:D

might need a touch bigger tires to run there ...
nice pics you post old boy.

62 degrees (North) ...... Greenland
You wouldn't have to worry about traffic.
In case you prefer a flatter surface. :)

Nice photos.

Thanks......
After 200+ Atlantic crossings, it's one of a handful of times I've actually been able to see Greenland or Iceland. They are usually shrouded in clouds. :)
Taking photographs takes my mind off of my broken Cruiser. :D

"broken cruiser"
you are looking at it all wrong ...
you are in the process of "upgrading" the old girl.

<up here, if you tell an insurance company you are modifying your truck you run the risk of them dropping the coverage. but. if you inform them you are upgrading they are happy to continue coverage.>
