Posting photos like that is similar to your prom date only allowing you to get to "second base" and then declaring her curfew is almost up. :D

Haha, sorry! I will post some preview shots but a full unveil won't be until I finish up!

I am very good at keeping secrets. :D. I knew who shot JR a whole season before anyone else knew but didn't tell anyone.
How far are you from Charlotte Douglas?

I will hook you up and post some here. Pretty close to the airport about 30 mins or so. I live in south Charlotte.

I am in Charlotte on a weekly basis. Hopefully I can see that jewel when you are finished with the project. :)
I like South Carolina ..... It makes it more difficult for North Carolinians to sneak into Georgia. :D
Do your running boards have a textured finish?

Nice, absolutely! You can come by anytime. Will probably be done near the end of Feb.

No comment on the NC position, I'm a Coloradan! :D

Mine are not textured but I don't think that's a bad idea. Would be nice to have a little extra traction.

Another couple of pics...

Hm, I have seen that thing before. Looking forward to seeing it again here soon.

Agree Darin! Can't wait till you work your magic on it.

Sorry C, I totally mucked up your thread...

"Sorry C, I totally mucked up your thread"

No worries .... it is a multi-purpose thread.
Feel free to post additional photos as you progress. :)

Oh I almost forgot ( comes with age ) .... Great looking Troopy.

that doesn't mean they are mine ...
i get to enjoy working on them, building cool traveling troopies, riding in them but sadly, i don't own one.

Well buy one ...... drive it for awhile ......get tired of it ......then sell it to me.
" a win - win scenerio " :D

As it turns out white was a poor choice of color for running boards. What is the overall opinion of black running boards on an all white truck?
Feel free to upload photos if you are currently running black steps.
Thanks.....

What about some of these style of steps ;)

well.. i can see where the Mad Max vehicle ideas came from.

This is quite a tame moded shorty, they are more concerned on performance over looks.
Mad max was a little before my time but I know what you mean.

Wayne you do realize you were insulted in a subtle way. :D
Well it really wasn't the subtle ...... He is saying you are old. :)

It is amazing what the Aussies can do with a welder and beer.....

you're only insulted if you catch it. at my age, i just let it go over my head so no foul.

i think i would have made a great Oz redneck.
