For those of you who accused me of owning a "mall princess", I offer
"action" shots.:D ( granted it is not Moab or Rubicon Trail kind of action but hey it is not the mall either):)

Spooky looking back yard you have. You could make a great slasher movie there:D

Do you have any rust in the body,it looks clean enough?

back yard

That "back yard" appears to be a pecan bottom which would be primo turkey country with the toms in full rut!!!!
CH, You have a pm

Slasher movie......now that is funny. No rust.....and a lot of money has been spent to keep it that way.

Super cool HJ75.
Will need to find some defects on your 75.:D
Nice mist scenery backdrop:)

*******, such a beautiful rig Charles.

Like I said, if ya ever want to sell, I'd love to be first on the list.

:)

Heck Onur, I already feel like you own a "minority" stake in the
Cruiser. I will just instruct my wife to send it to you if anything happens to me.:D

The 75 series cab chassis is the best of the best when it comes rust. All the panels can be replaced by bolt on bolt off.

Ive replaced the windscreen frame and I have a brand new drivers door to go on when I get a round tuit.
Ive got a small patch of surface rust at the back of the cab which seems to have gone to sleep after much spraying with lanolin.
I also replaced the bonnet with a mint one from a rolled over troopy for $300 but it went straight on with good paint, insulation and washer hoses still in place.
The old bonnet got some cancer from a poorly done smash repair

Keep an eye on the seams where the floor and body meet underneath the rockers. One they get rust in them ,they swell and open up to allow more moisture in

Thanks for the heads up. I was fairly lucky with this truck ( the only significant rust was in the floorboards .... result of leaking water ). I had the interior removed and the issues were corrected,
including the water leak and then rhino-lined. I pull the floor mats on a monthly basis just to make sure all is well. I also had the underside completely cleaned and undercoated.

now you just need to put it to work.

actually, the kid in the pic reminded me it was 8180 lbs when we went over the scale ... ooops.

that is the land that surrounds our little acreage, rural Ontario, where the farmers are tough and the sheep are scared.

i am just cutting wood more for fun than for need, we built a little 2 story bunkie a couple years back for guests to stay in and put a wood stove in. for the wife and i it is like renting a cabin when we stay in it.

it is kinda sad that most 75 owners have no idea what their trucks are actually capable of.

BTW, i absolutely LOVE the looks of your new baby. damn nice buddy, you should be proud.

replacement parts

Roscoe, do you have a source for cab parts in your country? My top is in worse shape than I thought and need to replace. Pointers welcome.
Thanks

Hijack over CH.

Thanks for the compliment Wayne. Most of the major news networks
( FOX, CNN etc.) carried extensive coverage of the conflict in Libya a while back and there were numerous photos of 70 Series trucks with rocket launchers and 8 to 10 rebels hanging off of the sidebodies.
Even though I don't work mine much it is hard not to be impressed with it's capabilities.

The potential in cruisers is normally found and used here as the ford and chev trucks are somewhat rare.
The "scared sheep" might be jealous of these sheep lapping around behind a cruiser.
