How do those windshield hinges go together? I have a small lathe and would like to copy your idea.

Full disclosure - I had these made by my machinist. These are press fit. The interference is between 0.0003 and 0.0005 inches. I did verify with him that he meant 3 "0's" after the decimal.

Sorry for the drawing but this is the way I got it from my machinist. The upper one is the windshield hinge and the lower is the rear doors and the windshield hinge.

Just an update and correction. The interference tolerance is 0.003 to 0.005 inches. Drop a zero off the previous number.

What kind or rear brake hardware are you using that you only have one wheel cyclinder on those brake drums.
