Not many 81/60’s produced and sold in the lower 48. Also looks to have factory air which I believe was pretty rare. Good luck with the sale.

This does not look like an '81. For that year, the front seat most likely would have been a vinyl bench, the flooring vinyl, and the door cards would also be vinyl and not run over the top of the doors.

Ken, interesting points. These pics are an 81 (lower 48) that I picked up about 6 years ago. I have never checked out another one in person but this one does have the traditional bucket seats.

Thanks, Jimmy. That IS interesting. I stand corrected! I wonder if there was a BJ/FJ difference in North America? I had an '81 BJ60, which was vinyl all over and bench seats. Anyway - sorry for the thread hi-jack. Good luck with the sale!

Not the one I have . Built 10/82 and has the normal brown interior . It does have some little odds and ends that differ compared to 82 on .
