I am working on mocking up a brand new steel tub for a 1978 build and am looking for some information on seat bracket mounting locations. I looked through FAQs and searched around, but couldn't find what I am looking for- which is basically some information on hole location for stock front seat bracket mounting. Admittedly I am doing this a little out of order since I don't have seats yet and can't measure them, but was hoping someone had something on hole or bracket locations as measured from firewall, rocker, etc. for the front and something similar for the rear.
I plan to use reproduction OEM style seats, so I plan to locate the mounts in the same locations as stock.
Also, I just noticed that the floor pan on the passenger side of the tub does not have the perch that the center seat bracket (the bar that has the front inside mounts for the driver and passenger side seats) sits on.

This is an image of the perch I am referencing- next to the transmission hump (I grabbed this image from another post). Any information on where to find that perch, or if anyone has made one and has proper dimensions?
Thanks for any help.

I have a nice clean tub here I can take some measurements off of and post. maybe post some pictures of what you are working with?

Thanks Matt, here are some photos. Just looking to drill all holes and get as much as i can mocked up before the tub gets stripped for body / paint. I have the original seat mounting stuff which you can see just kinda laid out in the photos.

You're better off attaching them to the seats, then lining everything up, marking locations and inserting threads.

Thanks. That’s definitely the way I would prefer to do it, I just don’t have the seats yet. I would at least like to get the bracket welded in before I do the interior/underside of the tub.
Any idea what the width of tracks on OEM seats are? Center on center?

x2. Get seats before you do anything. Is there some kind of rush to get it painted?

Just based on schedule when I can sandblast and have the underneath/inside primed/painted and undercoated to get it put back on frame. Also the way I budgeted I didn’t buy seats yet. I will wait until I do to get the seat components in. Thanks

Yep, get seats, and I would recommend doing a "lite" assembly of the whole car. Run your wiring, make sure lights fit, etc. You will most likely find other holes you need to drill, round holes that are supposed to be square, etc. It's a lot of time but it will be worth it.

I hear you chomping at the bit but I would not get the cart in front of the horse on that. Hang on until the seats come in.

In my shop we call it eating the vegetables before desert. Paint is LAST.

It’s a CI TROA tub. Paint will definitely be last. This is just for the bottom of the tub so I can get it on the frame. I’m trying to do as much mock up as I can now.
I appreciate all the responses, I’m sure this isn’t the last time I will go to this well.
