1976 FJ40 South American - Adding Brake Booster, Spacer, 3 Hole Firewall, Conundrum. Can You Identify This Booster/Master Combo?

Nice work! Sounds like success to me. So booster and tandem master solution for a South American market 76 with 3 hole firewall.

Thanks for posting where they installed the spring. I’m in a debate with ToyotaMatt on the clutch pedal spring for markets with the single master pedal bucket.

This truck actually came back for some other stuff so I’ll see about getting a pic for you. I’m going to guess a early 40 spring will work just fine.

Excuse the overspray. Here's the clutch return spring setup. 70-74 spring which is available still should work completely fine. 60 series spring or any plethora of 70 series springs would likely work completely fine as well. Nothing special here

Thanks for posting the image. This mystery and debate is now settled. There is a metal bracket that attaches to this type of welded on pedal bucket. My Colombian 40 is missing the bracket and now I need to search for one.

The image below shows the bracket missing.

I wonder if this bucket is the same for early trucks with 3 hole firewall. If anyone has bracket, let me know.
