I’ll be going back to school in about 6-7 months and funding MBA will be the sale of my 1976 FJ40. Runs drives like a tractor. Does everything it’s supposed to and it’s just a really good driver. It’s not restored. It’s not a pile of junk that’s full of rust. It has a little rust in it but again it’s just a great running and driving driver check out the pictures. I plan on selling it sometime in the spring not really in a hurry if you’re looking, I’ll be more than happy to show it to you but obviously selling it this time of year is not ideal. I have a clean clear Georgia title in my name and it is 100% stock with the exception of the front bumper the rims and tires off of an 80 series Land Cruiser and the seats. I have the full hard top and doors under my deck.

When I took the picture the gasket was not in if I remember correctly. Also since the pictures it now has a new headlight switch and the transmission tunnel is back in. I am currently changing out the pulley on the alternator this weekend. The size is wrong on the v-part the belt rides in.

One of the most reasonably priced 40's I've seen on the internet in a long time. I didn't expect it to have a top and doors at that price point. Should move quick, looks like a great foundation for someone to create their own survivor.

you may want to plug the hole on the top of the air cleaner as it sucks in unfiltered air into the engine

They are plugged, but Thankyou. I have had a massive amount of people ask for doors and top pictures. So here they are, also a picture one hour after pulling it out of the barn it lived in for 25+ years. Also, yes that is another Land Cruiser under the car cover. Number #2262 40th Anniversary Edition! Love my cruisers….

Looks like a nice project at that price. I'm surprised the rear seal is in such good shape. That's where 99% of most of the rust on these is the worst. Windshield would probably need replacing or some good fab work but overall the body looks good. It's hard to find a nice running condition under $10K these days. Curious where the barn was located that you got it from.

transmission tunnel?

had a bunch of people ask for pictures underneath so I got home and slid under and tried to take some pictures. I don’t have a lift but attaching some stuff now for everybody.

The transmission tunnel has been reinstalled. I’ll take a picture of it and attach it here and as you can tell from the pictures, she’s pretty much bones stock.
