1975 roll bar mounts (1 Viewer)

I have a 1975 fj40 that has no rollbar. I found one locally but want to make sure I mount it in the right spots. The PO coated the entire body with some sort of black paint substance to stop rusting is my guess and covered where it should normally go.

If it is not too much trouble, can someone post the locations on mounting? I think I can tell based on what the PO did but not sure.

in the wheel wells you should find some reinforcing brackets, the oem roll bar mounts to them.

^^ There should be eight captive nuts under each wheel well per side, four near the front of the wheel well and four near the rear. Stick an ice pick or something up through the nuts then look inside to locate mounting holes.. Sounds like someone coated the interior with bed liner.
