Maybe the frame and vin plate are from 73? But the miles are really low. Overall I think it is a very clean rig, just not my cup of tea. IMO, not a 54K rig.

If I didnt love my 77 so much, I would offer it to you for 50K! I often wonder what my sell it price would be? Probably way more than anyone would ever offer.

@pjohnson :
"My '73 does not have a fuel door. :meh:"
What month/year is your '73? Trucks from 7209 onward had fuel doors ("cover sub-assy, fuel inlet box")

I will have to check and report back ;)

Those metal plugs in the doors look like electrical knock-out plugs, all the ones I've seen are gray plastic. Also missing the pull knob for the cowl vent, it is unique for the 73 only due to the addition of the factory radio hole in the dash.

My 10/72 has a locking gas door and that same gas tank cover under the passenger seat.

Not getting into the nit-pickery of 'wrong hoseclamp for that month", there are problems that should be addressed:
No seatbelts. Not one for any seating position.
The alternator has a tiny pulley with big Cruiser belt about to fall off.
Front brake reservoir is 1/2 empty, indicating impending failure in that hydraulic circuit.
The brake MC has no brake warning wires connected, which is really bad on a 4 wheel drum truck with leaky china junk wheel cylinders.
Wrong size battery, doesn't fit tray or hold down correctly.
No PCV system, which leads to sludge buildup in engine.
No rubber sealed wingnut on aircleaner, so any water on top of aircleaner is able to get inside the aircleaner and rust the filter.

Yadda, yadda. A drum brake, 3speed cruiser that needs who knows how much work is a 10-20k proposition nowadays.

In addition to all of the above listed:

Driver's side inside windshield knob not screwed on (about to fall off)
Wrong steering wheel center pad
Looks like the wrong size side view mirrors. Should be the large round ones.
Driver's side rear seat back not bolted down
My dad's '73, bought brand new, does not have a fuel tank top plate
Rear axle bump stops????
Clutch master cylinder line rubbing on bracket rear of steering box
Hood windshield bumpers on backward
Rear reflectors missing
Front side marker gaskets not angled
No '73 carburetor accelerator cable bellcrank
Wrong transmission top boot
No interior courtesy light
Brake light brackets installed backwards
wrong side steps

It looks like the tub/cowl is from an ambulance door model as the rear bed does have the lip for the ambulance doors.

WOW!

I would not call this a '73 and for this price????
