It's a sad day but I have to make room in the garage for some new toys. I bought this FJ55 about 5 years ago from a gentleman in New Mexico. It had lived in New Mexico for quite some time and the desert air helped to keep the rust to a minimum despite its age.
The rig runs great (I drove it home from northern New Mexico to Houston without a problem). There is some rust in the usual places - floorboards, some in the drip rail, rockers etc with some bubbling under the paint in places. You can see that she has been repainted over the original red and has been re-carpeted inside with a new headliner. The rear tailgate window is functional.
Other than the interior work she is original with the original 1F engine and 3 speed tranny. She shifts into 4WD without any problem.
I'm going to list her on eBay with a $4000 reserve but I will sell her to someone on this board for the $3800 that I paid for her originally. She's located just north of Houston
