Thinning the herd--original California high desert truck, always in California, last used as a search & rescue vehicle for local sheriff out in Ridgecrest, Calif.. Previous sanding-caused surface rust only, some factory red primer showing, some light fender-top filler--solid, straight, and dry: body, doors, and frame. Truck is as purchased 17 years ago for a future resto and not run or driven since.
Has old-school 350 V-8, ram's horns with dual exhaust, THM 400 auto trans with Hurst floor shift, Saginaw pow steer. Includes a boxed set of restored tail lamps (bead-blasted and replated: good, solid buckets, new tail lenses with new gaskets), some early records, paperwork, and literature. Registered California non-op. Water tank and rascal granddaughter not included.
