Looks good Mike:beer:

The rib tool is AMAZING!! Such a better way to stamp the ribs than the typical 'box-brake' bending. Looks very consistent and true to form!

Quite impressive! Kicking myself for not thinking of that for my LV rear quarter panels! :)

This thread is awesome. You are the man. I could sure use your help on some s***. Keep up the incredible work.

Thanks for all the encouragement. I'm hoping the next post showing more progress won't be 6 months from now like the last one. Getting the bed and cab ready for sealer and surfacer is something I hope to get done soon. And if not the whole thing, at least some major pieces.

And for kt40, I don't know how much work you plan to do to your 45 but if I can help out, let me know. I probably do owe you something for hauling all that rusty metal away. ;)

Wasn't happy with the way one of the wheel wheels turned out so had another go at it. Here are some pics of what I did this weekend.

Already have the ribs formed in the sheet and a 90 degree bent along the length. Here I'm bending the upper part of the well to form the height. Using a square to make sure the bend is square.

Upper part finished and clamped in place. Now making the inner part of the well.

Fitting and marking the inner piece. Fitting after bending and punching holes for welds.

One of the nex steps will be to weld in the end of the bed and smooth it out for a finished look. I'll have to weld it very slow making short welds and letting it cool between each so I don't warp anything. I won't weld the wheel wells onto the bed until I have the sides ready to weld on as well since they all weld together and I may need to position them a little one way or another to get the sides on straight. Here a picture of the end of the bed I will weld. Second pic is just the bed again but I thought the lighting and shadows in this picture looked pretty cool.

Yeah, they shine light on Picasso's work as well! :) Very Very Nice!!

Damn, you do some incredible work. I am in complete awe and envy. I wish I had 1/10 that talent.
