I spoke with him a few weeks ago.
My Yellow (Clear) was in good enough shape that he is going to try to reproduce them as well. I think the only real difference between the red and yellow will be the part number molded into the lenses.
He was having a time getting my clear/yellow ones out without breaking them.

Is that the same bezel and the chrome cap your talking about. If that is the case I am afraid that's not a early FJ40 hub cap. Or am I missing something?

Dan take a look at the red ones in my thread, the only difference between the amber and red lens is that the red ones have tabs along the very inside of the lens that act as stops for that set screw on top of your housing.
very cool that Steve (I'm assuming Steve's working on these) has finally got one worth working on in hand. keep us updated on any progress please

Steve has them. I soaked them with PB Blaster for weeks and weeks but could not figure out how to get the non-red ones out.

Is the single sided clear lens the same??? If so, I have a very good clear turn signal lens to copy.

Mine are suppose to be yellow. They are sun faded to clear.

Single sideed ones are not the same. These screw in while the single sided ones have three screws holding them in. Last I heard the single sided one could be bought new. There is a small screw on the top of the housing that helps hold the front lens in. This is removed I assume?

I'm surprised no one had jumped on them they are only $50 a piece at that price.

These things are sure making it around. These came off of my 61 that the body was shot. Steve got them. He never used them and sold his 25. Now your going to sell yours. Not sure if you want them Dan. If you get them don't waste any time and weld them on right away. I don't need them back I've got a couple of sets. The only differance is they are still attached to the rest of the tub
