They are incorrect on yours or mine?

Idiot lights are correct for the early years. Maybe until they did away with the generator. I should have those lights if your looking to upgrade:rolleyes: The glass should be easy if not I have that too.

Dan I have a question for you about the bib lights. My 61 came wired for the dual filament lamps even though it had fender mounted turn signals. How about your 62? Was it still wired for dual filament lamps or had they dropped the second wire by then. My 62 I tub I got came with a bunch of extras but none of the front clip. The late 62 hard top I rescued from a junk yard was missing doors and the front bib so no help on that one either.

Mine has two wires coming out of the passenger bib bulb. A green with black strip and a White one with a black candy stripe (Ground).

The driver side has three wires coming from it. One green with yellow candy strip, one green with a balck strip and a white one with a black candy stripe (Ground).

I sprayed the screws with some PB Blaster so i should be able to remove them after awhile.

I thought yours were cut down, that's why I posted that for you.

The driver's side is probably original. Any pictures of how it was wired. My manual shows the two green with yellows with only one wired. My manual is dated 1962 so I guess it could be for 1963:hmm: Curious how yours was wired.

Here's a few pictures of my 62 tub since we all like to see picture. This is probably the rearest FJ40 model ever imported to the US. FJ40LB. I'll try and find some pictures of my 61. It has just a little rust easy fix:rolleyes:

Dan wax the LAND CRUISER part up then take a good picture and post please. Curious what the original color should be. Mine have all been repainted. Seems I remember it being a red.
