I am currently running BFG AT 285/75/16s and am wishing I would have purchased 35s instead.

So to make up for it, I just picked up some 03-06 LC 18 inch wheels. If I wanted 35s on my 16 inch wheels, what size do I get for the 18 inch wheels?

Btw, anyone looking for 5 OEM rims in good condition with 4 BFGs (D load rating) with 3000 miles on them and 1 new LTX...shoot me a pm.

Personally for 33" I'd stick with 16" wheels.

But regardless this will help you:

Maybe I posted incorrectly. What I want is 35s but on 18 inch wheels. I can't seem to find the correct search criteria when using the major tire retailer web sites.

Then you want 285/75 R18. That's a 11.25" nominal width on a 35" diameter with your 18" wheels. Those LC 18" wheels sure look mobetta than my Tundra 18's!

Or Cooper offers a 12.50" x 35" x 17"/18" too that is a little wider. The Toyo MT in the 285/75R18 appears wider than the GY because their tread goes all the way out to the plane of the sidewall whereas the GY's tread width is about 10".

So AFAIK you have Goodyear, Toyo and Cooper offering tires in this size.

Did you want 315's? Or 285's? The 285 Look on 18's is awesome! Sonk76's truck!

285's

Those look great but I want to keep the size down a little.

I just used the online tool and came out with the following:

34.2" = 275 75 18
35.3" = 275 80 18
34.8" = 285 75 18 (nominal)
35.4" = 295 75 18
34.3" = 295 70 18

I guess the issue was that whenever I was entering these figures, I wasn't getting any results. From what you are saying, I guess my choice of manufacturers is limited. I was hoping to get into another set of BFG ATs.

Thanks for the help!

Btw, what size are you running?

285/75R18. Been through 2 sets of Toyo ATs in this size and now 1.5 sets of Goodyear MT/R Kevlar.

For reference here is 315/75/16 BFG KM2's... No sliders on in this pic... I'll post a better pic tomorrow...

Jason, you have your OEM corner lamps?

Or 295/70R18... [Insert Running Board Flak Here]

Those look good...

To keep the price down I did an eBay search on that size (295/70/18) and you can get "4-295/70-18 Nitto Trail Grappler MT Tires 70R18 R18 70R" for $1003.00 shipped.

It looks like the 285\75\18 options are all like $400+ more than the 295/70/18s.

I also did a search for 12.5/35/18 and found "4-NEW Nitto Trail Grappler M/T 35x12.50-18 TIRES R18" for $1335.00 shipped.

295/70/18 looks like the sweet spot for getting as close as you can to 35s without paying $1300.00+.

I sold the OEM amber corners a couple years ago. I wanted all clears up front and have a amber bulb in the corners now. That was actually when I tried replacing all my exterior lights with LED bulbs and couldn't find anything bright enough... I couldn't find a suitable amber LED either and returned everything I had picked up locally...

That's the same conclusion I came to. I got my TG's at America's Tires. They matched the shipped internet price.

If you had BFG AT's, did you want Nitto TERRA grapplers? There's a big difference between the Terra and the Trail grappler. They both come in that size.

Black hub caps like mine haha

Actually the center caps are duplicolor graphite in that picture... I was experimenting with different wheel colors at the time... I have quite the spray paint collection...

Just counted mine up, I'm up to 22 half empty cans of spray paint:hillbilly:

huffing? that will rot your brain out don't ya know? :)
