Hi everyone,
I know that 15600-41010 has been unavailable in the US for a long time and was replaced with a smaller filter. However it “was” or “is” available in markets outside of the US. Has it officially been deemed NLA in all markets? When I would travel outside of the US, I would stock up at local Toyota dealers.….my wife would always laugh at me too.
Any ideas?

Just looked it up on Partsouq. $5.44 not bad. But then another $24.93 for shipping. Ugh!

Mcgeorge shows a replacement part instead ...part # 90915-40002 at $9.94 before shipping. Not great.

You could always go with motorcraft FL1A from walmart.

I bought a few when I was overseas that was back in 2019 and I paid maybe $6 each and they are made in Thailand.

90915-TD004 is the exact dimensions as 15600-41010. Made in Thialand. Side by side they are exact. Only difference is the weight. The Japanese original is an ounce or two heavier.

However $7 Thailand vs $70+ Japanese

@LN106

What's the Denso # on the back of the TD004?

Another good alternative. This is very close in size in weight to the original.

I bought a couple of those 150-2066 Denso to see what they were like... Made in China :mad: though the quality seems good.

FWIW Baldwin B2-HPG is a 10μm filter. USA made. The B2 is the standard duty version and is a 12μm filter and $4.50 on RA (Hastings). USA made. Standard Denso, including the 41010 is a 30μm. The 12μm filtration conforms to Heavy Duty industry spec.

This obsession with the Denso filters has to stop !! :bounce::hillbilly::bounce2: :p

If you want a quality filter without buying something at a higher price point, I also like the the Hengst h17w02

It’s made in Germany and it has a nice nut for removal on one end.

I’ve tried them all. I’ve easily got over 100 filters in the closet. They all work. I didn’t know the denso was a Chinese filter. It works; but I won’t use Chinese filters again if I can help it.

I had a Mobil 1 Chinese cartridge filter fall apart on my moms 210 Mercedes’. It was a mess.

Yes. The Baldwin (Hastings), Hengst, and the Union-Sangyo 1560041010A (Japan-made) are my favorite aftermarket filters.

@ToyotaMatt

Can you add a Sangyo filter to your upcoming video ? :)

only certain DENSO filters are made in china ,

the ones i source are made in Indonesia at the new DFENSO world head quarters & main global manufacturing facility

fyi

The Denso filters I bought from Rockauto were CCP. If you source them from the Middle East likely to be SE Asia made. In any case, they do all work and more important is frequent oil/filter change.

A BIG shout out to @HemiAlex for Donating the OEM made in Japan

I picked up a Mobil 1 M301A filter at Wal Mart....it was $9.00.
I have some of the real Toyota filters in stock, but I am not going to waste them now.
