Coming up on one year since I traded in my GX470 for a 2021 4Runner.

I miss you salsa red GX. I hope you're getting muddy out there. I miss your third row and your special button to start in 2nd gear. Come to me in my dreams tonight- we'll use your center diff lock and your awd and your 33s... you were so skinny and tall- a real knock out red head- with a banging V8. And that big old swingin door too. So much table potential that I never explored. Come back to me... we'll do easy u-turns all night long. The 4Runner will never u-turn like you did. You made it so easy.

Had a good time at Hidden Falls yesterday. Saw another GX out there. Looked very clean!
The long travel rear really impressed me. Next necessary mods are trimming the rear bumper and pulling the mud flaps and hammering out the pinch welds as there was a lot of rubbing lol.

Tooling around the rural hills & knolls in my PNW hood. ...Lots of good views. A little bit too much snow yet for really heading up in the hills (snowed since these pics).
Very little time on my new suspension... Other responsibilities have kept me away from wheeling around in my Lexus. Soon though as I have a couple of weekend trips planned.

Also wanted to show where my Switch Pros switch panel is mounted. I liked that area, and Sean at Kaizen fabbed up a mount at my ash tray to do so...

April 14th snow. ...12" of it! Whew, I spent the morning running the neighborhood plow truck - got it stuck, dug it out (luckily), all for rising afternoon temps and huge melt-off. Fun!
My 470, with the center diff locked owned it today on a couple of steep climbs. ...Where the diesel trucks break traction (too much torque?).
Anyway most of the snow melted away. 😆
