Word to the iPhone users , the Bluetooth 327 doesn't work on iPhones the wifi does.
Anyone want my Bluetooth one? Of course the very first 5 minutes I had my wifi connected I hit it with my leg and broke the case.... Grr it still works though. No gas gauge on torque pro

I think if you jailbreak your iPhone, there's a way to get the Bluetooth dongles to work. The crappy thing about using a wifi adapter us you lose data when connected. Wish iPhones were better at this kind of thing.

iOS doesn't support Bluetooth Serial Port Protocol (SPP) which ELM327-based scanners use. I don't think jailbreaking your phone changes this, although maybe some 3rd party has implemented SPP. WiFi based scanners work with both iPhones and iPads out of the box.

Edit: I did a little searching and found that if you jailbreak your iPhone and then install "roqyBT" and "roqyOBD" you can get apps to connect to bluetooth-based scanners.

Could I get this to work with an Iphone 4? I have a used one that isn't being used for anything. It would be nice to be able to put it to work.

on the 4 the Bluetooth kind will not work, I think..... think being the key word, that the WIFI version will work. :meh: I am an android guy so maybe someone with Ijunk experience can chime in :p
