Do you think the factory put them on this way ??? I must say putting the HT back on was a bit of a PITA to do....and of course like all things worked on in the garage, I have no help. But it's all back on now for winter warmth. However, just when all was right with the world, something in the rear lift gate latch mechanism let go...ah fawk it I'm too tired to deal with that now...it's cold beverage time.

I did not need to do something like that. You push and hold the windshield and pull down on the top.

Nice looking Roll bar, like the grab handles. You make it?

The cage was done by Upnover Innovations in nearby Aston, PA. When I set the top down, I bolted up the 4 bolts at the top of the windshield first. Just sitting there, the whole smageggi had to come back at least an inch. I could push it back and down...but my third arm is not in service right now so I could get the screw in...hence Mr. Porta-power put in right where it needed to be.

The bucknuts will be appearing in the toilet bowl against the powerful university of para/quadopalegic state for the criminally insane...they are giving us 6 points so I'm feeling good. Ahhh we're in the Alamo Bowl against Oklahoma State or OSU vs OSU. IIRC after we opened a can of whupass on your boys they ended up getting some welfare and are going to the Rose inspite of their sorry selves...correct ?

hey Brian...that windshield look familiar ?

My hardtop needs a different type of "encouragement" every time I put it on. I like your creative genius. I've used the PortaPower for several alignment issues on the cruiser.
I need a pullback ram.

Brian,
Yep it cleaned up OK with the sandblaser. A little thin and pocked in a few locals along the bottom, but all in all a significant improvment over the pretzel that was my original.

Ed,
Have you dropped a hint to the Misses for the pull back....oh god, that doesn't sound good...wait till Junk or Gumby get a hold of this...oooo that sounded even worse.

Actually, I have been bitching about my "homeowners's grade" tool cabinets and I think she popped for a bling stainless big-boy roller for me. Now I need to upgrade my tools.
Well, one thing leads to another.
On the use of the PP..."Improvise son...we won two World wars that way!!!"
Thanks,
Ed

The portapower is my favorite tool to use on a suspension swap.
