F650 with Cummins diesel. No problem. About the same cost as a new LX.

maybe they wait and see what the 08 has under the hood? i'd still go with a 3500 diesel based on tranny, but the tow capacity of the next LC might be considerably higher?????? we'll see april 4.

Keep in mind that 03 - 05 LX came with an tow hitch receiver integrated into the rear crossmember. The towing capacity was reduced to 5000 lbs for this kind of tow hitch. But from talking to a Lexus dealer, you can still install the regular one and tow 6500 lbs.
