Le sigh... all I did this weekend is work for the man. At least I can live vicariously through you all!

Next year...

Great photos! Certainly gives the impression you guys were on top of the world!

This was my first large wheeling trip with 100s and I am defiantly looking forward to more!

Why you gotta always be so defiant man? :flipoff2:

Great pics Loud! Thanks for posting them up.

I looked up some info about the cabins that we passed. The large one closest to the "SS" road is the St. Paul Lodge. They have a large lodge and several smaller ones. The other cabins belong to Red Mountain Cabins. Some have water, some don't.

I will be requesting info for both to determine if they have something that would work for our type of group. http://www.skistpaul.com/

"We proceeded up the Super Secret Route to come to the best views of the trip. We found a cabin in the area that has great potential to be the base camp for next years event."

Is this the one? If so, we've stayed there the last 3 or 4 years for our summer vacation San Juan four wheeling trip.

BTW, Thanks for sharing the pics. It brings me back to the place we love so much.

is this cabin a public use thing? or did the founder of "the super secret road" have personal access to it??

The cabins are adjacent to a public county road that was dubbed the "super secret" or "soup or secret" road for reasons that only the 8 of us will ever know. The cabins are privately owned and rented through the year.

Missing it already, Here are a few more, the animals were popular. I went a little overboard on the photobucket sizing, I'm still trying to find a sweet spot.

Jon, those pictures are disconcertingly large.

Since the Poughkeepsie Gulch video kind of sucked I took it down and I'm attempting to make it suck less. In the mean time, here's Black Bear Pass at a much slower speed than the first time lapse.

there should be audio swapped in, eventually.

Sweet. What hardware/software are you using to make the time lapse?

This one was made using iMovie, the other one was a time lapse generator program. I bought a GoPro HD the day before the trip.

My God! How that trail has changed since we went down in the 100 in 2002! I swore I'd never do it again...until now. There's all kinds of room now. Wonder how they accomplished that?

What trail are you talking about? Black Bear?
