I looked up some info about the cabins that we passed. The large one closest to the "SS" road is the St. Paul Lodge. They have a large lodge and several smaller ones. The other cabins belong to Red Mountain Cabins. Some have water, some don't.

I will be requesting info for both to determine if they have something that would work for our type of group. http://www.skistpaul.com/

Is this the one? If so, we've stayed there the last 3 or 4 years for our summer vacation San Juan four wheeling trip.

BTW, Thanks for sharing the pics. It brings me back to the place we love so much.

The cabins are adjacent to a public county road that was dubbed the "super secret" or "soup or secret" road for reasons that only the 8 of us will ever know. The cabins are privately owned and rented through the year.

Since the Poughkeepsie Gulch video kind of sucked I took it down and I'm attempting to make it suck less. In the mean time, here's Black Bear Pass at a much slower speed than the first time lapse.

Sweet. What hardware/software are you using to make the time lapse?

This one was made using iMovie, the other one was a time lapse generator program. I bought a GoPro HD the day before the trip.

My God! How that trail has changed since we went down in the 100 in 2002! I swore I'd never do it again...until now. There's all kinds of room now. Wonder how they accomplished that?
